Most of us cut our teeth on editorials for women’s magazines, they are so plentiful and colorful and widely seen; a great window for illustrators. I did regular work for Company and Good Housekeeping among others, and the smoked fish piece for Elle  was seen by an art director at M&S and led to a really nice food packaging commission from them.
